The department of surgery is divided into five sub-areas of hepatobiliary pancreas, colorectal, gastrointestinal, breast/endocrine, and vascular graft. It performs laparoscopy and robot surgery for colon cancer, liver cancer, stomach cancer, pancreatic cancer, and thyroid cancer. Furthermore, it selected organ transplant surgery as its main field of fostering, and it is performing kidney transplants and liver transplants.
