Background and purpose of establishment
The 21st-century medical environment urgently requires new medical service environments and hospital operation models
due to the increase in medical demand, growing aging population, and change in disease structures. Furthermore, due to
the need for a hospital operated by the insurer that would develop and apply new medical services and operating systems
for the sake of public interest, and in order to provide high-quality medical services in the northwestern part of
Gyeonggi-do, which was deficient in terms of medical services, Ilsan Hospital was opened on March 3, 2000 in Ilsan,
Goyang, Gyeonggi-do with 5 floors underground and 13 floors aboveground with 745 beds, boasting of advanced medical
equipment and facilities
