What is Emergency Care Center?

This is comprehensive, professional emergency medical care for emergency patients that require immediate and accurate diagnosis and treatments. The Department of Emergency Medicine is open around the clock 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, to provide safe first-line diagnosis and treatments for all emergency cases.
If necessary, the applicable specialist treatment is provided through close collaboration with each clinical department to support the patient's well-being.

This is also a specialist training medical center to foster skilled emergency care professionals through diverse education and research. Our specialty areas include cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), initial evaluation and revitalization of patients’ shock and multiple trauma, and treatment for intoxicated patients.

Emergency Medical Service Procedures
  • ① Application for Medical Service:
    fill out an application form for medical service and submit it to Emergency Reception Desk.
  • ② Discharge/Hospitalization:
    Submit your receipt or ID card to an ER staffs. You will take consultation from a doctor and proper medical examinations. Finally, based on the examination results, the doctor will decide whether discharge or hospitalization is necessary.
  • ③ Payment:
    Patients to be discharged shall be instructed by a nurse and pay a medical fee to reception Desk. Receive your discharge medication, if applicable, before returning home.
  • ④ Discharge:
    Submit your discharge card to a nurse. Obtain your medicine from the on-site pharmacy and receive consultation about subsequent medical care and precautions at home, before returning home.
  • ⑤ Admission:
    Patients who are admitted receive an document for admission by the doctor and submit it to reception desk. After admission registration, you will be guided to your arranged ward.
