The Dept. of Cardiology provides health care services for underlying cardiovascular diseases such as hypertension and hyperlipidemia in order to prevent or treat acute and chronic heart diseases such as angina, heart failure and arrhythmia. The major chronic adult diseases, which have been increasing in recent years, are covered by this department.
With the mission of taking responsibility for the systematic management of a patient's whole body needs , the Dept. of Cardiology has intracardiac catheter and cardiac ultrasound divisions with a 24-hour specialist call system to provides emergency coronary artery revascularization for patients with acute myocardiac infarction.
