Clinical Pathology

Providing proactive treatment service, beyond anesthesia, pain control and ICU management
This department is responsible for anesthesia management in the operation room, patient consultation in the pain clinic, and patient management in the intensive care unit (ICU).

Anesthesia has contributed to the dramatic development of medicine by eliminating pain from operations. Currently, anesthesia is also used to control post-operative pain, eliminating the patient’s burden and fear of pain. To be specific, the roles of this department include providing adequate anesthetics during operation, checking the patient’s general status before, during and after operation, treating refractory pains, especially neuralgia or pains in cancer patients, providing CPR and artificial ventilation or aspiration therapy for patients with breathing disorders, and managing severe patients.
